VocabGap is built so that your learning stays on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.

What we collect

Nothing. VocabGap has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal information.

Where your data lives

Your study progress, review schedule, vocab level test results, GRE exam date, and settings are stored locally on your device.
If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

Purchases

The one-time purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and restore through Apple's standard mechanism.

Notifications

Study reminders are optional local notifications, scheduled on your device. They do not involve any server.

Audio

Word pronunciation uses the speech voices built into iOS. No audio or text is sent to us.

Children

VocabGap does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated first, and the date above will change.
